Nut and Fruit Bites ( Lara Bar DIY )

Refreshing Bites
Protein snack bites made from nuts and dried fruit.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups nut assortment of walnuts, pecans, and hazelnuts ( can use any nut to your liking )
  • 5 - 6 pieces of dates
  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 dried fig (optional)
  • 1/8 cup goji berries (optional)
  • 2 - 3 pieces of dried mango (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend for about 1 - 2 minutes. Do not over-blend as it will release too much of the oils from the nuts.
  • Pour into molds and press down to form shapes. You can also roll them into balls, make sure to press the mixture as it can be crumbly.
  • Store into an air-tight container and good for 5 days at room temperature.
