I love to make this kale juice when I’m feeling tired or sick. The wonderful thing about juicing is all the nutrients go straight to your system since there is no fiber for your digestive system to digest. So if you have digestive problems and your body is having trouble absorbing nutrients this is a great way to get them into your system. If your body is going through health issues this also helps fill your system with a large amount of nutrients. Juicing breaks down all the vegetables into a a juice by removing all the fiber and sustains all the nutrients from the vegetables. It’s a healing on a cellular level since this is what our cells need and crave.

This juice is packed with kale, celery, cucumber, apple, lemon and ginger. The juicer I use is a masticating juicer by Omega. I’ve had mine for years now and has been working well. They have newer models now and they’ve been known to be a reliable brand. Masticating juicers are also better at juicing leafy greens and have less oxidation since there is no heat from it’s slow grinding.

Let’s Juice!

What you’ll need:

  • kale
  • cucumber
  • celery
  • lemon
  • apple
  • ginger
  • juicer

Wash all vegetables and fruit. Cut all the vegetables and fruit to a size that will fit into your juicer.

Starting adding vegetables through juicer one by one. Alternating from hard vegetables and soft ones. This will help any soft fruit or vegetables go through the grinder better.

Drink immediately or store in an airtight jar in the fridge.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups packed kale
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 apple
  • 6 sticks celery
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 inch ginger

Instructions
 

  • Wash all vegetables and fruit
  • Cut vegetables and fruit to a size that will fit through your juicer.
  • Add all ingredients into juicer. Alternate between hard vegetable and soft vegetable to help softer vegetables through.
  • Drink immediately or store in an airtight jar inside the the fridge.
