This juice is both healing and energizing. It’s a great juice to drink in the morning or when you’re feeling sick. It has cancer-fighting properties with potent vitamin A. The first time I heard about carrot juice’s amazing benefits was in a 2004 documentary called The Gerson Miracle. It’s about a doctor named Max Gerson, MD and he introduced a nutritional therapy to treat cancer and other disease with carrot juice and diet. It was the first time I had heard about nutritional therapy. I was intrigued that foods alone could heal our bodies. This juice was also mentioned by Chris Wark who wrote the book Chris Beat Cancer. He had taken the nutritional approach to treat his colon cancer and is currently cancer free. Carrot juice was also part of his health protocol, which he drank 64 ounces everyday. A side affect of drinking a large amount of carrot juice is it will turn your skin orange.
I try to drink this juice once a week. I’ll drink more if I’m feeling sick and this always helps me feel better. So this is a great drink to introduce into your diet for its disease fighting benefits.

The item I used to make this juicer
The juicer I use is this masticating juicer by Omega. If you’re looking into juicers I highly recommend a masticating or slow grinding juicer because it doesn’t heat up and kill the beneficial enzymes. So it has a low level of oxidation. It’s also juices leafy greens much better than a centrifugal juicer.
