This smoothie was created by Brooke Goldner, MD who wrote Goodbye Lupus. She had incorporated this to increase her cruciferous vegetable intake and for its anti-inflammatory benefits. This amazing smoothie has also helped me in my own health. It boosts energy and lowers inflammation. I can’t think of a week without making this smoothie. It is jam packed with kale and is high in omega-3s with flax and chia seeds. I’ve added an assortment of berries to increase the antioxidant intake and cardamon to enhance the cancer fighting properties of blueberries. I’ve also added amla powder to increase the antioxidants. This is one powerful smoothie.
